What's Covered?
All of our products are backed by a Lifetime guarantee, which fully warranties them against defects in materials and craftsmanship for the life of the product, or for as long as the product is owned by the original purchaser, whichever is shorter. All repair requests should be initiated through the repair form prior to sending in the item(s). We will be in touch within 5-7 business days to verify the repair and provide further instruction.
We are happy to perform repairs at no cost to you if the issue is deemed to be due to a defect in materials or craftsmanship, but we do ask that you cover shipping costs to and from WoofTown HQ. Please note that WoofTown is not liable for packages lost or damaged in transit by the postal carrier.
*Only products purchased on www.wooftowndogs.com are covered under our Lifetime Guarantee. Please reference your order number and date of order when emailing, and include a couple of photos of the problem area.
Limitations
This guarantee covers hardware/material/assembly defects. It does not protect against misuse or damages caused by pets, or normal wear and tear, natural breakdown of material or any other event beyond our control.
Routine maintenance of hardware should be taken, e.g. cleaning off dirt and polishing brass hardware to maintain the sheen, as well as care to maintain the integrity and shape of BioThane.
EXAMPLES OF AREAS THAT WE GUARANTEE:
-Lead snap hook stops working or gets stuck
-A rivet (fastener) or d-ring falls out from normal, everyday use
-A brass rivet or roller buckle loses it's colour
EXAMPLES OF AREAS THAT ARE NOT COVERED:
-Pet chews through the BioThane/hardware
-Damages caused to the accessory from misuse by unsupervised tethering of an animal
-Slight colour changes due to the natural ageing of the materials
-Black and rose gold hardware is not covered under our guarantee. These are plated metals that will inevitably lose their colour, however, we stock these as they nevertheless remain a popular choice. We always recommend stainless steel and solid brass hardware.
-The natural ageing of BioThane. BioThane and leather materials naturally age over time, however, with proper maintenance, your product should last you for years to come.
-Products purchased via third parties or wholesale retailers, i.e. Etsy, are not covered.
*If a product has been damaged due to normal wear and tear, natural breakdown of material, damaged caused by a pet, or other such event beyond our control, we will contact you with the cost of repairs/replacement. Repairs will not be completed prior to customer authorisation.
